The Hygiene Bank

Leybourne Church is now a collection point for The Hygiene Bank. This is a local initiative which since it's start in August has donated over 2 tonnes of hygiene and sanitary products to people in need locally. Any new and unopened products are gratefully received, and find their way to womens' refuges, hostels and food banks. It is always pleased to receive what might be considered essentials such as shampoo, toothbrushes, soap etc, and any form of sanitary or hygiene product. Many women in refuges bring children with them; so nappies, and night-time pants are needed. Further information can be found at www.thehygienebank.com. There is a black box in church below The Hygiene Bank poster which is on the wall opposite the main door.
